Summary
Description
Join us for a stroll on the Irwin Creek Greenway as we dive into the intersections of access to greenways and the sustainability and growth of communities. We are very fortunate to be joined by Rickey Hall of the West Boulevard Neighborhood Coalition who will be sharing some of his insights into the importance of safe, accessible greenways to his constituents.
We will meet at the back of the Arbor Glen Outreach Center parking lot near the bathrooms and greenway entrance at 6:30 pm. The walk will take approximately 1 hour. Comfortable shoes and a mask are recommended. As a reminder, the current COVID-19 mandate requires all people to wear face coverings in indoor public places, so if you plan to use the restroom at any point, you will need to don your mask.
We'll provide light refreshments (sandwich wraps, chips, tea, lemonade) so you don't have to miss dinner.
If you have recently experienced symptoms of or tested positive for COVID-19, or have been exposed to someone who has tested positive for COVID-19, please consider the safety of your fellow Sustain Charlotte supporters and refrain from attending this event.
